I am sure that I’m among many who benefit greatly from your insights and your ability to find the philosophical angle when you’re dealt a lousy hand. Related to your matsav, my kids and I carry the indelible memory of happening upon Micah as he headed energetically towards the shul on the morning after your surgery to give the good news that things had gone well. It was the closest I’d ever seen anyone come to walking on air. Such happiness—-it was just pure love.
